I'm using Nomar, not particularly cheap but I beat the hell out of them and they take it.

I didn’t know that. My poor poor wallet. Seen any pics?
54” on the long and 47” on the short. Pricing is supposed to be $150ish. Pictures from their Instagram page. The long will fit a 26 inch barrel plus a 7 inch can.

Triad tactical.

US made
Secured rifle in the case
Pockets for stuff, lots of stuff
Ability to add backpack straps
Balanced handle
Opens flat

It’s a really nice bag. I need 2 or 3 more. I can load my rifle, tripod, bag, suppressor, ammo, mags and notebook in the case and not have to bring anything else to the range.

I also use the Armageddon Gear, they are super high quality and of course USA made.

Those look very well thought out. I’ll be getting a short. I thought the 58” Armageddon Gear would be an do all end all, but it’s too long to fit in the back seat of my Tacoma flat lol. Almost bought a 48” a few times but I’ve just dealt with angling it.

I absolutely love Triad’s stock packs, I need to look into their cases it sounds like.

I've got a Duluth Pack rifle case, so the 50% tea-tottling, pipe smoking Aussie in me is satisfied.

Buy one of the "tactical" style cases with all the pockets, lots of storage and easy to transport.

2nd for all the same reasons. Hoping my wife buys me a 2nd one for Father’s Day.

Anything over about $30 or $40 is a waste on a soft case.
Don't know if I'd go that far. When I got my first "precision" rifle 20+ years ago, I got an Eagle DB BS and the obligatory Pelican (and later) Starlight case. The thing has been awesome and sees WAAAY more use than either of the hard cases ever did.

Were it me, I'd spend more on the soft case, and less on a hard case (unless you frequently fly with your rifle)

If I didn’t fly, I would have no need for a hard case. I would only have the $40 or less, preferably way less, soft cases.
