Exofficio and Gore socks but you can't get them anymore, second choice is Farm to Feet Madison socks or Lorpen Merino Light Hikers. Darn Tough is too dense and really holds sweat making my feet continuously cold and clammy. I like Bridgedale also especially their liner socks when I wear liners.

I wear Mast General Store socks and have been for over a decade. They're made right here in the mountains of NC (same as Farm To Feet), are very affordable and are buy 3 get 1 free. They are bulletproof and not cheaply blended with minimal wool. You can see the specs on their website. You won't be disappointed. Have a look:

Do you carry moleskin?
I carry a small blister kit (just in case) with moleskin, leukotape, duct tape, antiseptic wipes, and antibacterial cream. I didn't use any of it on my last hunt (a 28 day Elk Hunt) because the sock, sock-liner and broken-in boots never even caused a hot spot.
