smelly pack???

So ive been hiking, climbing stairs, etc...with a heavy pack....Now Im wondering if my pack is going to reek from all the sweat? Ive got a Badlands 2200, so Im guessing im just going to clean that part that presses against my back....Is this a concern? I guess it will get sweaty in the mountains too,,,,but dont want to be walking around with a giant stink bomb on my back...

Just get a nylons brush and some mild detergent (better yet tech wash) and go to town on the back panel in a bathtub. If you've been training a ton it can't hurt.

Hang it and let it dry after using it and it won't stink...throwing a wet nasty pack in a dark closet will make it get moldy and nasty. Don't overthink it

I take some hunting clothes type soap and kind of hand wash the back and shoulder straps and then rinse well with a hose. I don't spend a ton of time on it either.

I bought a used Icon Pro 1850. It came covered in blood stains and a bit dirty. Looks like he shook it off real good after his last pack out and then shipped it too me. Lol. I'm thinking of tossing it in the washing machine to clean it up as best I can. What non scented detergent do you guys like to use?

Not even sure if I'll keep it though. I don't like how it fits on the frame compared to my Ultra 3000.

I use the free and clear unscented kind of stuff from wally world. I bought a big jug of this all natual and UV free stuff and it works great.
