The other day I was out hiking and had my boy with me. While climbing up he took a stumble and got his hand into some cactus. We sat for quite a while as I began to pull them out with a small leatherman pliers I had with me. My wife did a google search and found that using elmers glue to remove the small stickers worked well and that duct tape was another option. He was a trooper through the whole thing and did well. This got me to thinking, what does one carry in case of such a situation?? I generally try to stay aware of where I am stepping or reaching but curious what others would have done who maybe have a little more knowledge in this.
