This is one of the lightest tripods in the market and perfect for glassing. This has the original center post which can be swapped back on but I upgraded to a 6” carbon center post to cut more ounces (Steve Speck from Exo recommendation). I’ve had this for less than a year and selling because I switched over to stabilizing binoculars.
Weight is 25.5 ounces full setup with 6” carbon center tube.
