Sleeping Bag Suggestions - Early Season Whitetail backpacking Southern IL

I have a Marmot 45 Nano sleeping bag, thinking i need something with a colder temp range. Any suggestions? Looking to spend less than $200 (Ideally less than $150) Weight is a concern but not the only factor.

If you’re planning on doing trips like this in the future, or colder weather trips, I would say get a good used bag on here. Also depends if you’re wanting down or a synthetic bag.

I would worry more about a good pad though. Hard to sleep well without one. Whatever you choose, just make a few practice runs so you know what works.

Thanks Guys. I have 2 pads right now (Klymit Static V and a REI one that they don't make anymore). Neither are insulated...so it sounds like I need to add that to the list.

For a bag I would prefer Synthetic but I am open to down.

I purchased a Black Ovis 20 degree bag last year. Used it this past season. Performed what I needed it to and was reasonably priced. I believe I bought it for $120 on sale.

The Big Agnes Insulated Air Core Ultra pad is awesome. Thats half your budget but well worth it.
