When Sitka reached out to us in spring 2015 looking for someone to run their new Traverse Hoody through the ringer, I instantly knew the right person for the job. Rokslide Prostaffer Ross Russell hunts the backcountry of the Northwestern U.S. where cold and wet are the norm. He punishes his gear to the extreme.

Ross just spent this last November in Northwest Montana testing the Sitka Traverse Hoody and here with his final report.

Thank you Ross for the review. If I can find a good deal on this piece it'll be the next thing I buy. Seems like a very versatile layer.

I just picked up the Peloton 200 but this hoody from Sitka seems much warmer.

The peloton is another nice hoody and I wore it in September and into early October, but no comparison in warmth between the traverse and peloton the traverse is much warmer!

I am just waiting for them to come back in stock at Sitka and I am grabbing a pair for me and my dad
