I just wanted to share some information I have obtained from wearing my mountain jacket. I will confirm it is a windstopper not wind resistant. It will with stand a 65mph boat ride and I have not felt the wind all day. It is water repellent so far. I have not tested it enough to say water proof or water resistant. I have worn it shooting 3D and it is none restrictive and does not effect my mobility. It is also quiet but not stealth. Also it will pack up very small. It fits in the small part of a 3D stool with plenty of extra room left. I know this is just a small review but I hope these small bits of info will help in someone’s shopping
