Potentially interested... If I'm layering a Sitka 1) base layer, 2) hoody, and 3) puffy all in size large under a rain jacket also size large, will there be enough room or should I size the rain jacket up to XL?

Normally I would say yes. For instance I use an xl in the dew point rain gear because it has a more normal cut. I wear size large in all my under layers as well. The stormfront has expedition sizing (see the Sitka website) and the large stormfront jacket easily fits all my layers underneath and is comparable in size to the dew point xl if not just a touch bigger (but really only a touch bigger if any).

so I am in your same situation. The last thing you want is a tight rain jacket compressing the puffy. That’s no good. The size large stormfront has plenty of room for layers underneath.

I am 5’9” 190 lb, barrel chest and very athletic build.

I appreciate the feedback, thank you. Unfortunately I made it back too late to buy the complete set. Good luck selling your goods!
