Looking for information from those of you that have used a transporter to hunt blacktails in AK. Getting serious about booking a trip and want to make it as good of an experience as I can.
I've done various searches and gone down rabbit holes. @mcseal2 posts and articles have been a great resource. I've reached out to a handful of companies and had a good phone conversation with the owner of one. I've read or seen enough mixed reviews of different transporters to be a little concerned. Understand that weather and deer populations will have an affect on the hunting, but don't want a bad transporter to be the reason we have a bad time.
What I'm interested in is your experience. The good, bad, great, ugly, etc. Time of year you went, and you're expectations going into it. What to look for in a good transporter and signs of a bad one. Open to recommendations as well. Thanks
