This is an older wading jacket that I very rarely wear due to giving up my brief career as a winter steelhead fisherman. The coat is absolutely bombproof and I've never had any rain seep through. It fits more like a standard raincoat rather than the high waisted wading jackets. It makes it nice for non fishing wear but every once in a while I would dunk the lower pockets during some ambitious wading.
