Sights - Dove tail or fixed???

I currently have a dove tail type sight. It has worked out well and I like that I was able to move the sight so that my sight picture around the sight housing was perfect.

What are the pro's and con's to each type of sight? Dove tailed or fixed.

I will be getting a new sight soon and have been thinking about trying a fixed arm sight.
