Things that might turn people off include duck down instead of goose down, a half-length zipper, and an unorthodox foot vent. But Sierra Designs was trying really hard to be innovative for a few years there, back when they hired Andrew Skurka. He did a good review on these bags. They seem like a really good option.

I have this bag. It is my favorite bag. Its not the lightest option out there, but I can use it in a wide range of temperatures and adjust the warmth.

I'll second that. I'm no expert on sleep systems, but I've used the Nitro 20 down to mid/high 20s in my merino baselayers with socks and been pretty comfortable.
