Any Ram collision guys out there?

Just wanted to know what I'm in for...can't get this in for a week.

'21 Poweragon, didn't do a ton of damage, but certainly put a dent in the driver corner of bumper (almost missed her). Parking sensors and winch appear to still be working, although the censors mounts are all busted up. Nocked the corner back into the wheel well aboht an inch and now slight run in right turns.

Haven't had a repair in a while...is this something they're going to say they can re-adjust and replace the plastic housings, or since the actual steel is bent as well, they'll need to replace the entire bumper?

Would prefer not to have a patchwork job done on an 80k truck. Curious how much an OEM bumper w/sensors is costing these days and if it's best to just start shopping for aftermarket bumpers? Expedition one has one that fits the OEM winch for ~$3K.

Thanks in advance.

Replace with a Ranch Hand and never have to worry about hitting a deer again

I'm leaning that way (that style anhow) had one on a previous 1 ton. juat wondering if I can get I surface to cover it or the shops isost likely gon a say they can just pull out the dents and call it good. Not sure I have a say? Outside of just paying my own cash....then I always have a say, right.

Insurance will have you take it to one of their body shops for the estimate then will pay you out based on the estimate. Up to you if you want them do to the work or take the cash and figure it out yourself.

I suspect the estimate will be higher than you think given the cost of parts these days. Personally, I would get an aftermarket bumper and do away with the front sensors. I keep mine turned off all the time anyway.

My wife hit a deer 3 weekends back on her way home from work... couldn't find a repair shop within 60 miles that could get it in before May 🤬
Would've kept looking (maybe further), but took out an oil cooler and lost engine oil, so didn't want to have it towed further than needed. Not sure if it's lack of parts or service techs, but pain in the butt for sure... oh well, she's got a nice rental for the month

Son talked an ag equipment salesguy, territory is the hill country of Texas, drives at night a lot in an F250. Hits 50-100 deer a year, puts a Ranch Hand bumper on every new truck and drives right over them without damage. I drive thru that area at night during the rut and the number of deer next to the road is staggering, always watching for eyes at night.

I had a front bumper insurance estimate and ended up ordering a Road Armor front bumper.
We installed it ourselves.
F150 with no front sensors so no loss of function for me there.
I shopped all the front bumper manufacturers and glad I waited 8-10 weeks for the Road Armor.
