Alright. Minds out of the gutter.
I'd really like to see everyone's possibles pouch and a break down of what you're carrying in the field. I'm a newb. Got all of my gear (for now) but my pouch seems bloated. For such a lightweight rifle, my supporting gear seems ridiculously bulky. I'm shooting a T/C .54cal inline. Thanks in advance.

I usually carry 2 reloads in my bino harness with 4 extra primers and leave everything else in the truck. Inlines are a lot easier to organize than traditional stuff

I don't carry a whole lot on my person. I keep 2-3 speed loaders and twice as many caps handy in my chest pocket, bino case, or cargo pocket on my pants. I keep a couple more speed loaders on the front of my pack handy if I need them. So far I haven't managed to get more that 3 shots off, out of about 2 dozen dead critters. All other gear is stowed in a small pouch about the size of a camera case in my backpack. At a minimum for trips further than an hour or so from the truck...besides the speed loaders, I have a small flask of powder, and 6-8 "balls," a dozen or so caps, a cleaning jag, per-soaked cleaning patches (I use Windex, or the Knight cleaning patches), plenty of dry patches, nipple grease and the tools to take the rifle apart. A CO2 unload-er can come in handy, but not necessary if you have the breach plug wrench. I always tape my barrel.

I may be doing it all wrong, and was self taught so take my 2c for what it's worth. :) I've done a fair bit of back country and backpack hunts and haven't needed anything more than what I stated, not really sure what else I could take though... only time I got in a real jam was when I broke the fiber optic on my front sight, I now have a hood to protect it... or use a scope if allowed.

Bambistew has a lot of good points, I use to also carry a fanny pack full of stuff, this year I went on a week backpacking trips with my muzzy, I packed 6 extra loads, a small bag of patches and about a dozen primers, one thing that has hosed me a few times muzzleloader hunting is loosing my primers, I'd carry them all in a brass holder with no extra, you loose that your screwed. I'd suggest having primers a few primers stored separate in case you loose some or the main ones get wet. I also pre measure my powder so I don't need a flask or a measure, if you Google blackhorn 209 charge tubes it has 20 tubes that store in a box kinda like a box of bullets, smaller and lighter than a flask and you don't have to worry about measuring just throw how ever many in you think you need and go, all the essential stuff should fit in the belt pouch of your pack with ease and if it doesn't have one a small accessory pouch on there would be perfect too

My setup is similar to the ones above... I always have a couple speed loaders handy in a front pocket. A few extra primers in my pocket as well. I also have a palm saver and a primer puller handy in a front pocket. I recommend having one, as those 209 primers get stuck once in awhile and you can't get them out with your fingers!

I carry in my backpack more speed loaders, some cleaning patches (wet & dry) and a cleaning jag. I've never carried a pouch.
