About 3 weeks ago I bought a SBE 3 in 20ga from the Scheels store in Eau Claire, WI. While patterning it I found out that it was shooting 5-6" left of POA. I switched out the cast shim to the left side and it moved the POI to 2-3" left of POA. I talked to the Renee, the lady I purchased it from, and she told me to bring it in. I figured they would send it in to be looked at by Benelli. When I go there they went over it and told me to go pick out a different one as they were not sure how long it would take to be looked at and if it could even be fixed.
I ended up picking up a Beretta A400 Explorer with beautiful tiger striped wood. I got it to the range and it was hitting about 2" to the left. I'm sure when I switch out the cast shim it will be very close to center.
I am very happy with my experience with Renee and the whole gun staff as they are very knowledgeable.
As an aside I did find out that the employees in the gun department do get a commission on the guns they sell.
