Just a couple data points for folks thinking about shortening barrels for suppressor use.
Tikka in 270win cut from 22 to 16 lost 200fps with a 124 hammer hand load. New load with 145eldx ended at 2780fps using 4831 SC and shoots very well.
Old 10twist 243win vanguard cut from 24 to 16. Lost 250ish fps with a Berger 95 classic hunter hand load.
Probably a little high pressure, but ran 95gr ballistic tips up to 3000fps using 4451.
Both rifles lost 30-35fps per inch of barrel. Hope this helps someone
