I’m looking for a really warm glove that has an opening for a right hand trigger finger. I need it for predator hunting and would prefer something that’s somewhat water resistant if not goretex or something similar. Tired of having a cold hand and it’s too hard to get a glove off when the action is fast.

Suggestions?

i have a pair of sitka gloves that has no index finger. moderately warm, but i can fit a merino liner in to help. for really cold weather hunting with a gun - i use glomets. those warm mittens with flip up cover exposing all fingers. think i got them at cabelas, only thing i have been able to come up with myself. can't stand warm gloves with handling any weapon...

I just heard Justin Crossley on the Avery Outdoors podcast talk about the flip up gloves that hold hand warmers. He said they are his go to. I am going to check them out for next year.

I wear a merino liner in a pair of mittens. Easy to slip off the trigger hand mitten when needed.

Not sure the brand but I would look for some mittens that flip exposing the fingers so you are able to shoot. I'm guilty in that I generally don't wear a glove when hunting and will keep that hand in a pocket with a hand warmer.
