Shepard Stove Coming to Market

HPG is getting ready to launch the Shepard Stove. I like how it assembles, the huge door and the burn time looks impressive. I wish it was titanium up front.

Agree with Muleman on the titanium. Waiting for the smaller versions, looks very nice.

whats the life of a stove like this? do they eventually burn out the bottom?

I not sure as I don't have a uber lightweight tent stove yet. If it ever did happen it wouldn't be hard to replace.

I do have a very light weight, by wall tent standards, welded sheetmetal stove. This stove has held up well and other than warping shows not wear and tear to the fire pan.

It that stove was a 1 lbs lighter it would be sweet. Love the simple and effective design.

When it is made in titanium and refined. I hope it comes in significantly lighter.
