So let me start off by saying YES I know that these are not made to be sharpened. Long story but I bought two packs of three at the end of last season and have not opened them until yesterday and turns out they are dull as can be. I'm not into getting into a broadhead debate as I do love these BH's but I am not going to spend $20 per pack to get replacement blades. So, that being said, has anybody tried to sharpen these or know of how I should approach this? I have a wet stone and some vice grips but before I go full bore I thought I should check and see if anybody has done this before.

To do it right, you need to disassemble them. Ive had great success with many broadheads using a pull through style sharpener. Look on ebay or amazon at rada knife sharpener. Jas two silver wheels. About $5 shipped. They work awesome.

If they really did ship some out with unsharpened blades I would expect they would want to replace them for you, if for no other reason that to keep the good will of their customer base. So, I would call them, tell them you bought two packs that were both dull, and ask them if you could send them back for sharpened packs...or ask for replacement blades for them. Here is their contact information:

I sent items back before and their customer service was great. I would go that route before sharpening them yourself.

Thanks for this! I bought one and have been using it to touch up pocket and kitchen knives. It works great for just touching up the edge.

I had a similar one but with clay/ceramic wheels that didn't work as well. The nice thing about this one is that it's super quick and easy. My wife can use it with no problems and doesn't have to wait for me (especially if I'm not home) to sharpen a dull knife.

AZGUY any chance you didn't buy those from a reputable dealer and they are the fakes from China? Other than that all rage blades I have ever felt are pretty sharp so I would expect they will replace them for you.

Hey guys sorry for the delay in response. I bought these through Amazon from a dealer titled "Rage". I spoke with Rage and they said they do not sell directly through Amazon nor do they sell via a third party. These broadheads came in legitimate packaging from what I saw and I chose to just sharpen them myself. Rage did offer to replace them fully though which I thought was great.
