SG Helio Hoody Question

Thinking about pulling the trigger on a Stone Glacier Helio hoody. Can anyone speak to the sizing? I am 6’1 200lb with a muscular build, and oftentimes find that while the size charts say to get a large, things are too tight in the shoulders/arms.

Also - how durable are they? Everyone seems to love them, but there’s been a few reviews stating that pilling/seams coming undone has occurred with relatively light usage.

I’m similar general build (6’-2”, 195) and have had a size large Helio for 3 years. It’s still in great shape. Favorite mid layer I’ve had, never hunt without it. I’d describe the fit as “fitted”; it’s not stretched-out tight on my shoulders and chest but not at all loose.

Edit: just tried it on and it’s more loose than I remember, you’d have to be pretty jacked for a Large to be too tight lol.

If you want snug. Get large.

If you want to fit loose. Get XL

FYI - if there’s a Scheels close by, they carry SG so you can at least try on.

I am the same exact build and I have an XL. It's fairly snug up top, little baggy in the mid section and they run very long. If putting layers underneath, I would personally go XL, IMO.

It recently got here in the mail and was a little too tight in the chest/shoulders/arms. Midsection fit well though. It fit perfectly as a t-shirt but wouldn’t work when layering. Sent it back for an XL
