Sevr TI 2.0 or 1.5 for elk?

With your arrow weight the 1.5 will be fine, just a tay away from the shoulder. A COC fixed will give you better penetration though.

I put a 2.0 through the shoulder of a bull last year. I had the tip curl slightly. Talked to Sevr and they said even with my setup, high momentum, they would STRONGLY recommend the 1.5. They’re not only smaller diameter but the tip is less prone to rolling.

I was shooting 84lbs with 560gr arrow. The shot was 7 steps.
