Has any have an issue with running Sevr broadheads in a tight spot quiver? The BH doesn’t fit securely in the hood without putting tension on the bands that hold the blades closed. Any suggestion on this.

The add on arrow gripper works ok but doent solve it 100%. You can add a foam block to the hood that will hold them tighter as well.

I took the rubber gripper in the hood off and used fine, sharp scissors to cut away the rubber until the head would slide in and out without deploying or hanging up. Although you need to have the secondary gripper to make this work, otherwise the arrows are too loose.

I have the quivalizer which has a very similar rubber hood insert. 1.7 and 1.5 sevrs with the blade deployment tabs further back from the tip work much better and I can insert the tip until resting securely in the rubber and the blade tabs are not touching. I thought the 2.1 sevr was a little bit of a design question mark or flaw.

I used 1/8" drill bit (per the suggestion from Sevr's Instagram) to just drill some small holes in the hood's foam next to where I'd normally put the broadheads. The points now just go in and sit tight inside the hood without the broadhead deploying.
