Serious camping

I am currently in my 15th day in camp on a project. I have been living this life since 1974. Just out of curiosity - how many days do you folks camp per year? Work? Play? Summer? Winter?

I camp probably 35-45 days a year if I were to place a number. Hunting/backpacking/truck etc. I do not camp much in summer in Texas

A good bit. Usually 40+ days over the course of the summer out backpacking/scouting with another 20+ in the fall while hunting. Winter slims down a good bit, maybe 10 or so, mostly truck camping to ski. I’ll call it 60 on average.

Between 30 and 50 each year. Combo of multi-day river trips, hunts, backpacking, fishing trips.

so far this year there has been 20 days camped out in the horse trailer. most in 3 day trips.

october is on the list to ride the whole month. and a lot of november. maybe a few days in december.
