Sept 6th full moon this year.

Hunting the first week in Montana this year for cow Elk, Mule Deer and Antelope. Do I need to worry about the full moon? Some people love it some hate it.
I hunted the full moon last year in NM the first week in Sept and it was real slow.

It is what it is. I wouldn't worry about it.

While the moon does plays a role in Elk behavior I'm going to hunt hard no matter what it's doing and if a cow is in heat the bulls will be cranked up no matter what the moon is doing.Most years here in Idaho things don't start to get interesting until the 10th on.
