Hey guys I wanted to give you a heads up for whoever is interested. I have a ca late archery tag burning a hole in my pocket. The season opens in 6 days an I wanted to take you guys along. I have the first 8 days of the season off which is 23 days long and after the first 8 I have to return to work which is 3 days a week so there is plenty of hunting to be done! I will start a live hunt thread on Wednesday which is when I get off and going to jump right into scouting and covering some miles. A little foresight for you. The tag took my 9 years to draw which I have painfully accepted being a firefighter (wildland), July through August is pretty close to impossible to put in the effort I feel is necessary to be a successful hunter. I set my goal at 170 but growing up in the heart of the country the big one can stroll by at any given time. I have saw a lot of bucks and a lot more non typical bucks than usual.
