Tomorrow I am going to the local gun store to sell some ammo in hopes to buy a new shotgun. What is a fair asking prices for the following per round:
Steel cased .223
Fmj 9mm
Defensive carry 9mm
Winchester 3006 150 grain super x
Winchester 147 grain fmj
Military surplus 3006 black tip
Federal 100 243 power shok
Assorted .22
12 gauge Suprema buckshot
Federal fusion 30-30 150 grain

It is a typical gun store currently. No ammo except oddball calibers.

Thanks!

I wouldnt think they would buy? Curious as to what happened if you went in today, did you have any luck?

Went in today and I traded ammo for a new shotgun. Owner kept saying that it was impossible to get any ammo in so he had to buy it.

Good fer you!

I'm thinking about doing something similar - have about 10 boxes of 3006 and 4 or 5 partial boxes from prepping for a trip. Want to get either a 22 pistol or a decent ML.

Lots of people I know are converting ammo and primer stores to weapons. 1000 rounds of 9mm = NIB Glock kinds of trades. I am not a big fan of price gouging but it is what it is. FWIW I am seeing more quantity and variety of ammo in PA. Prices are starting to soften a bit too. For that matter most guns that were selling way above MSRP last summer are back to MSRP or less now.
