Seekins QD sling cup issues

I bought a Seekins Havak Element M3 and I have tried two different slings to see if it was the sling or the gun and neither magpul QD sling will stay attached to the rifle. It easily pulls out without pressing the button or won’t lock into place. Either way it’s now clearly an issue with the gun and I only bought it yesterday. Has anybody else experienced these problems on a seekins or any other brand of gun that has QD style cups for slings.
