So we have a small office out of town we would like to add some cameras to. As for now we would like one to cover the front door and one the rear parking lot. Obviously we want to be able to monitor remotely but I'd like to have a monitor in the building as well. At most there are two employees there at a time and I want them to have their privacy. I want then to see the cameras aren't watching them. Love to hear some ideas.

WE put a system on our house a few years ago from Swann. We bought it at Menards. Was fairly cheap and it works well. ours is a wired system. We have a monitor in my wifes office that just uses a Flat screen TV. WE can monitor all cameras from our cell phone any where we have ever been. Picture quality is good they are IR also.

+1 for Swann. I’d avoid systems that require cloud storage and monthly subscriptions. Get a system with a local harddrive. Also, I’ve had a lot of wireless cams but prefer wired where possible to mitigate issues with connectivity.
