I’ve had an old Ruger 25-06 M77 for a while. It shoots great with factory Barnes 100gr ttsx and thought it would be fun to hunt with after a few years away from it. It was topped with a lower-tier leupold. The magnification maxed was fairly limiting for me and no parallax adjustment made anything out to 300 really difficult for me to see well.

I have familiarity with SFP scopes only - Vortex and Leupold with no complaints.

Looking for aftermarket options or new suggestions within budget. I hunt out west, southern mule deer in mostly desert transition mountains. Probably something around 15x. Trying to stay close to $700-$800.

Thanks for the input!

Maybe take a look at Maven Optics? They have a couple in your price range that are SFP, either the 3-12x40 or the 4-16x44 might work? I picked up a 3-12 last fall slightly used for a great price, so far its been a solid scope and has done what I need. Pretty light-weight as well so thats a plus for me (y)

SWFA - 3x9, 3x15, or fixed 10x.

Or a Trijicon Credo. I like the Accupower too.

Or a Maven RS1.2, if you can find one.
