Having a Tikka rebored to a 35 Whelen. I'd like to stick with my Sportsmatch 30mm rings.

Looking for a bombproof set-it-and-forget-it scope for 300ish yds. Above average low light capability a must.

Not interested in Leupold or Vortex.

How much do you want to spend?

S&B makes a great hunting scope with 30mm tube.

So does, Zeiss, Leica, and Swarovski.

I think the S&B Klassik is a good value.

Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56 is a great option.

Go all out... Swaro Z8i.

i think the 56mm bell is going to be a little to big for my taste given cheek weld and ring options. Maybe I'm wrong on that, though...never tried.

The Huron has a dismal eye relief for a Whelen. As the poster above, I have an the 1-4 Accupoint on mine. Excellent scope for your setup. Mine is a little heavy but it’s not a Tikka.

For a quarter mile I feel 6 power is more than adequate. My 358 lever is sporting the swfa 1-6, love that scope. A close second is the trijcon 1-6. Both are ffp And mils if that matters
