How did you know he was a scammer (which I accept at face value he is)? I don’t buy much nor sell often (only have sold twice and bought once or twice) so I’m curious on what immediately grabbed your attention. Thanks.

The guy is new, he has no feedback, and he is attempting to take the transaction off the Rokslide site. My guess is that he would also request payment from a source in which the buyer has no protection.

There's a pattern... But maybe better not to detail everything in a public post as that only helps scammers get "better" at this. But as was said above, its usually a response to a WTB ad from a new member with no real posts. I will.send you a pm

That's exactly what he did. He replied to my "WTB" also with almost the same message, word for word.

I reported it earlier today.
