I’m trying. But seems like it’s a bunch of hoops.

You paid for a rifle part. You probably aren't going to be covered. They will probably lock your account and the account of the a-hole that scammed you.

If you didn't put in the description that it was a rifle stock I would file the claim for something else. The scammer isn't going to contest it as they took the money and closed the account by now.

I didn't specifically put "rifle stock" or anything with a buzzword, but I did put HNT26. I just submitted a claim using just that. We will see what happens.

Update: Paypal processed my refund. I'm whole again.

Does anyone know if @Vacrt2002 legitimately got hacked or if he was the scammer? I finally got money back from PayPal, but I tried to reach out to VACRT 2002 and it shows his account is no longer active.
I’m wondering if he in fact was the actual scammer playing it off as if his account was hacked, or if he just got a username and replaced the VACRT2002 and was not a scammer. I would really like to know from an admin.

Not sure how they do it here but on some of the other forums when a members account gets hacked they still keep their username just change the password
