The mini has been out for a little while now and lets hear how they are working . I know Bob has some experience and hopefully some others will post some reviews. How are they working for you ?

I just did an online search yesterday to compare the mini with the original 3 way. Lots of info out there comparing the two.

I installed mine today , inline on my source 3ltr low profile bladder. I wanted to see how the flow was before using it in the field. Water came from the yard hose, so clean water. Water flow was great, no real noticeable difference than without the filter. Next weekend I will give it a try with creek water.

Used mine a few weeks ago for a week and it worked great. Flow seemed pretty good with only a little less flow toward the end of the week after filtering some pretty muddy water that cows were laying in. I also noticed the inlet side seems to have a very small inlet possibly to keep out any bigger stones from getting stuck in the filter so if you ever have an issue check and make sure there is not a pebble stuck in there.

Overall very happy with this filter and still have my original sawyer as backup at the trailhead.

Haven't figure out the difference between the mini and the squeeze deal. They look like they pretty much do the same thing. For $30 at Wally World, I think it's a no brainer.

Did a little more looking between the squeeze and the mini. Looks like the mini adds the in-line option or you could sip directly from it. Appears the only option with the squeeze is to drink directly from it or squirt it into another container. Kinda like the option of in line and setting up sort of an IV drip deal.

This sky is pretty much the limit with the mini. You can detach it from this set up and hook it right to your hose on your drinking tube.

Just remember, you cannot let this system freeze or it will render it useless. You also need to backflow it from time to time with silty or muddy water.

I run the squeeze with the in-line adapter often. Works great. I have set it up "IV style" a few times.

Aron's caution with keeping them from freezing is right on. I froze and broke a 3-in-1 Sawyer. Woops.

I backflush the squeeze between trips. Handy system.

Has anyone had any issues with them plugging? My inline 3 in 1 Plugged on the third day of using it. Non-silt water. Any attempts at back flushing have been unsuccessful. This thing is plugged! Never was in frozen temps. I think I read on the sawyer site about vinegar. I need to give it a shot or give them a call.
