Newtosavage
WKR
I broke apart a couple Savage rifles yesterday to build the gun I wanted. These are the parts that are left over. The action and stock are off a 116 30-06 that I bought 3 weeks ago. I fired less than 40 rounds through that rifle. The action is one of the smoothest Savage actions I've ever handled.
The stock is off that same 116 '06. It's an original "tupperware" plastic Savage stock with the bottom bolt release. It takes the Axis-style magazines. This is one of the lightest Savage stocks you can find. My scale says 27 oz. with the magazine inserted. It also wears the original Savage Indian head logo. This is set up for a bottom bolt release action, but with a dremel and about 3 minutes, it can work with a top bolt release action as well.
Finally, the barrel is off an un-shot .270 Lightweight Storm. It's an ultralight 20" barrel. I bought that rifle for the action and stock, and I pulled this barrel before it was ever fired.
******** Everything IS SOLD *********
Thanks for looking.
