WTB Savage 243 barrel with faster than normal twist

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to try out heavier bullets with a 243 for hunting, and want to spin a faster than normal twist barrel onto a Savage 10 action I have. Anyone out there who may want to part with one they have sitting around, please let me know. Ideally I would like 1:8 or 1:7.5, and blued. But let me know what you have.

Not much response on this. I found an EABCO barrel on fleabay with a 1:8 twist, but I am uncertain about the quality of those. Anyone have any insight?

Not what you're asking about but I have a 6.5CM barrel that shoots really well off of a savage. Only took it off to rebarrel to .308.

Thanks SloppyJ, normally I would have considered this. But in the last year I have acquired a full rack of 6.5mms of various sorts, so I am all set on those. Still, I appreciate it.
