I am selling an older Savage Model 110 in 270 Winchester. This is a pre-accutrigger rifle, but not sure when it was made. The stock is original, but has been re-worked. I took this on as a project for a friend who wanted to make it a hunting rifle. Turns out he didn't want to pay for the services rendered, so surrendered the rifle.
This rifle is old, but shoots excellent. I took the stock (which was painted with black oil paint) and sanded it completely down and put a coat of oil on it, sealed with lacquer. The receiver, barrel and ALL internals have been bead blasted and ceracoated black. There are a few spots where it went light, but it's a complete coverage. Again, all ther internals have been re-finished so it's going to be good to go in all weather. The stock has been bedded as well. One of the receiver screws was stripped, so it was re-tapped with an over-bored size screw (same thread pitch, but a Brownells oversized screw) and holds perfectly secure. The rings will come with the rifle, they are 30mm Talley rings that are specific to this receiver. (hard to find as they went to the round reciever in the current design). All rings have been torqued to spec and hold perfect.
I have ammo loaded for the rifle (was for the customer) and you can see the results in the target pictures. I can include that ammo and reloading components (brand new brass, bullets, dies) for an additional cost. I would also be happy to share the load data with you (as seen in the picture).
I put the scope on the rifle (Burris Veracity 5-25x50) that DOES NOT COME WITH THE RIFLE. If you wish to purchase that with the rifle, we can talk about that offline.
I am an FFL, so shipping would be to your FFL at actual cost. If you want to do a face to face, I live in the very SW corner of SD and would be happy to meet up.
