I'm not a super long range hunter, but I like punching paper, gongs, rocks, hogs, varmints as far out there as I can. What mounting system would you rec for this rifle? I know it takes Rem 700 compatible stuff. Wondering about MOA rails, Burris Signature rings, etc. Thanks in advance.

Get a 20 MOA rail from the likes of Badger Ordinance, degrease and threadlock as appropriate.

Then pick up some Seekins Precision rings and be done. Burris signature are meh in my experience, I've been extremely happy with all my Seekins rings as of late. It's all I've used for awhile now and I haven't had any reason to switch.

That being said, you could look into the Unknown Munitions rings that @Ryan Avery posted about yesterday, He's not known to handle things like a fairy princess, so if he's recommending them then I wouldn't doubt they'll hold up. I'll be trying those on my next rifle.

Let us know how you like that Sauer, I've heard great things and almost purchased one at the height of the 'vid. I still would like one at some point, but they're hard to come by locally.

I’ve got burris two piece pic bases on mine and Warne mountain tech rings. Tried Seekins lows and they didn’t work with the Nightforce shv 3-10. They are very short scopes.
