This was my CCW and trail gun for several years. It’s in good shape and the action is slick and tight. It’s a 3” 357 mag and I replaced the front sight with a tritium version from Meprolight. I will include the speed loader and the speed strips along with the belt slide holster in the pictures. The holster is not the greatest as it has no retention.

I will sell the gun holster and loaders with my stash of factory ammo with the gun (450 rounds of 38 and 38+p and 190 rounds of 357) for the lump sum of $815 shipped to your FFL.

If we split it up, $600 shipped to your FFL for the gun, holster, and loaders and $300 shipped for the ammo.

Either way, the prices for both ammo and gun are less than what I am seeing online right now. It’s been a good gun to me and it should treat someone else well for a lot of years.

Here are the details on the factory ammo:
150 rounds of Winchester 38+p 125gr hp
50 rounds of Win 38 winclean
50 rounds of REM 38+p 110 gr hp
150 rounds of REM 38+p 125gr hp
50 rounds of Monarch 38 158 gr hp
100 rounds of monarch 357 158 gr hp
50 rounds of magtech 357 158 gr soft points
30 round partial box of HSM Bear Loads 357 180 cast flat noses,
30 rounds of mixed 357 rounds 158 gr (PPU and federal fusion)

Lower 48 only please. Would love to ship ammo to AK, but the man won’t allow.

A little bit about this gun. Started carrying it because we camped in a lot of remote country with a young kid and I had a a bird dog who was the snuggliest, blood thirsty killer you ever met. He would bite off way more than he could chew with packs of coyotes, bears, badgers, you name it. I needed to carry something just in case he brought the fight back to us.

I originally wanted a 3” S&W 60. And opted to go this route because of durability and recoil. I had intended to send the Ruger to Cylinder and Slide to get a set of J-frame sights added. But the gun shot so well, I decided there was no need. It has a darned nice trigger for a packable little gun. It also handles big cast bullet loads like 180 flat noses really well. I carried it concealed with 180s in grizzly country in WY and MT and with 158 JHPs down in the southwest. Honestly I think it handles the big 180s better.

You couldn’t ask for a better light-weight trial gun than this. With 38 wad cutters, it will cleanly take dusky grouse without ruining meat. I used this gun when I got my CCW in this state and A-zone hits are no problem in DA mode with 38+p HPs at 20 yards and beyond.

I’m selling the gun because I’m not in a place where I need the big cast bullet loads anymore. But you’d have have to work pretty hard to find a more versatile, more packable, and harder hitting gun than this little beast.
