My dad has a Ruger Red Label (20 gauge) that has a slightly bent rib vent. Barrels seem straight and it's more of a light, sweeping bend over 10-12 inches than a dramatic sharp bend... Is this something a good gunsmith can fix. I hope so?... It's one of my favorite guns in his collection!

For sure. Just take it to a good shotgun smith, if they use the wrong flux and solder you’ll get rusty gunk weeping out for ever. Giacomo Sporting does this work and they are very good, they actually do a lot of the service work for perazzi. Del Whitman would be another smith to recommend.

Edit: also try calling ruger directly. A friend had his 1980’s red label repaired there not under warranty, and felt they did a good job. You’d hope so!
