Had a buddy of mine order one of their tumblers and compared it to his Yeti. Identical performance in his opinion and half the price. Just ordered one myself.

I don't understand what this whole deal is with "tumblers". They must be made in the same Chinese factory as these coolers because every ad I see in the newspaper, mail flier, internet, emails.......is offering these "tumblers" with the same Chinese coolers with different names on them.

What's the deal or allure of these "tumblers"? I've never even gotten a slight inkling of buying one or ever using one. But there seems to be a lot of this kind of stuff going around in the last 10 years that "people just have to have", and I just shake my head and wonder what the heck.:confused::confused:

They rock is what's the deal, the cheap Walmart Ozark trail will keep your drink hot or cold as long as a yeti. I have put hot coffee in mine only to be caught up with work and not get to drink it all, still warm at the end of the day. Now I k ow you wouldn't let your coffee sit that long but it is great. All my old mugs or tumblers would give me cold coffee after a few hours.

I can't see using it in the field but for home and work use they rock.y

if you lived in the south where temps in 90's everyday and humidity to match you would appreciate a "tumbler" Keeps ice all day inside the cup and the outside stays dry and warm, no sweating. Staying hydrated is very important and sometimes hard to do but the big tumblers do help. Not worth a damn to me for coffee as stays too hot to drink for too long..be lovin the yeti thermos too, have all sizes and a use for them all

I bought one of the Ozark Trail tumblers from Walmart to see what all the hype was about and have found I really like it for longer drives. I don't drink much soda, except to keep me awake when driving long distances. Throw in some ice and Cherry Pepsi and I love that thing for keeping the Pepsi cold during the drive. As others have stated, it keeps it cold and doesn't sweat.

Much like 5Miles I personally don't find much of a need for it the rest of the time. I drink a lot of water throughout the day but I don't need that to be ice cold as I sit in an air conditioned office. I don't drink coffee so I don't need to keep anything hot. Everyone has their own preferences and I can see where it could come in handy for some people, but for me it's not a must have item. My brother loves his Coke and Mountain Dew and loves his Yeti tumbler to keep it cold throughout the day. Comparing his Yeti and my Ozark Trail I can't really find a noticeable difference just looking at them other than mine cost $9 and his cost $40. I haven't done an ice test with the two but my Ozark Trail tumbler certainly holds ice plenty long enough to do the job I need it to.

I've been wondering about their softpacks....and wish they had 2 gallon tumblers. Let us know how it works out for you

I bought their Softpak 40...it is awesome I immediately sold my Yeti hopper 30. I hated the yeti because I couldn't get in the zipper opening well..I have also since sold my tundra and purchased a yeti and the softpak lunchbox. Have their drinkware as well.. I have moved 100% to RTIC and sold all my Yeti. These guys use to work at Yeti hence why they launched the softpak before yeti just launched the same version. Yeti only came out with smaller lunch box version because it would cut into their hopper sales is my guess.

Trust me a order a softpak!!

I ordered the 64 oz. I had one until just a few days ago when it got all smashed up behind a tractor. I work on a farm and these jugs have been lifesavers. I'm dying out there on those 90-100 degree days and to be able to have ice cold water all day has been awesome!

What are shipping times like now? I waited for ever to get my RTIC 65. Nice cooler, but the constant pushing back of delivery was annoying.

You would have to check their site they change all the time. My Softpak date moved out twice but then I ended up getting it early. I think they are worth the wait.

Also had an issue with the growler cap leaking. They got an order in missing a gasket, called them up and got the gasket in the mail in two days.
