New for 2018 is the RRS-Yoke. Over the years, customers have requested this enhancement so that they can leverge the Granite Peak tripod as a shooting rest. While I argue that the V2-Snipepod, with it direct connection to the firearm is always eaiser to manage and move with, the RRS-Yoke is still a valuable aid if you don't have a V2-Snipepod. The base of the RRS-Yoke accepts a 1/4X20 stud, so you can screw it directly to the top of the Granite Peak or other tripods. The RRS-Yoke base also has the dovetail design so that it will slide into the RRS-Shoe that many folks use for quick inter-connection of optics. The RRR-Yoke folds together when stored, is only 3.25" long and weights an astonishing .8 of a ounce! It opens to a 90 degree crotch with cork/rubber contact patches.
