Rocky Mountain Goat Alliance

Can't thank you enough! Your support is more than appreciated. We are just taking flight and the feedback from our work up to this point has been very motivating. You should get your membership packet sometime next week. THANK YOU, again. Which BoD members do you happen to know?
Anybody check into this organization? I know two people who have been approached to join the BOD, quality folks both of them so my wife and I joined. http://www.goatalliance.org/

Thanks for posting...I'll be joining as soon as I'm at a computer with my wallet handy

Never heard of them thanks for posting. I need some more stickers for my hunting rig anyway!

Wonder how many members they have? Just curious as to the amount of traction this org has. I believe it just started up here in 2014. Correct?

Yeah started in 2014. I've been a member since February! Great organization already doing a ton for got conservation. They already helped fund and set up population surveys which resulted in a new unit with a couple of tags in Montana. They are also working closely with North Dakota F&G to set p population surveys in the Black Hills in hopes of getting a grasp on the goat populations there. I know that in addition to MT and ND they are talking with biologists in multiple states to do what they can to help fund projects or provide man power for further population surveys.

It's a great unit - get involved as soon as you can!

We are in the process of getting a Washington chapter up and running. There are a ton of goats and goat hunters here in Wa., so we thought we should have our own chapter of RMGA. Contact me if it sounds like something you are interested in....Shane, get in touch with me as soon as you can, we need to talk.

Awesome GurrCentral, we have a project in mind for your area. Been talking with the local bio and there is definitely a need here in Central Wa.

Not yet, we are just getting up and running. It started in Montana which is the first and only chapter so far. We are starting the process of getting a Washington chapter going, but we have a long way to go.

Not that I know of Amp. Gonna take a little time to get the organization chart working before we too carried away with chapters. We are still getting board of directors set etc.
