Any WKR's have a well used RMR Type 2 they'd part with? Not sure it's the red dot I wanna go with yet, but would like to try one out, just not priced as new. I already have the plate for an RMR footprint that came with my 2011.
Prefer a 3.25 MOA Dot.

I've run the RMR and the RMR HD pretty hard, Trijicon's a great choice, and wouldn't hesitate to buy used like this. Just ensure seller sends several good quality photos of the front of the lens, and of the battery prongs that hold the battery in place. Those are the two things people tend to screw up, but they're pretty bulletproof red dots.

I’ll have to have you look through my RMR and SROs sometime.

If I was going to start all over, I think the RCR would get the nod.

OP, if you can take him up on this, it'd be valuable experience. Including just making sure the dot works for your eyes, in case there's a bit of astigmatism, or the like. But it's good to get behind a gun with them mounted, to experience the different windows and overall experiences.

Also, I don't disagree with Marty on the RCR, especially if your 2011 is expected to see any use in the field. I'm about to get one for a Staccato I just picked up. EDC and house guns have RMRs and RMR HD, and they're great sights...but Marty's "if I was going to start over" comment rang true here too. Best price I've seen is $610 from GunPrime, plus another $100 off with mail-in rebate linked in that post.
