I'm try to summarize: I bought the Rifles, Inc. rifle from a friend who was retiring from Alaskan hunting. He made me a pretty good deal on it. I'm not the greatest shooter in the world, but not the worst. Quite honestly, I'm not the best shooter of the ultra-light rifles. I'm better with a 7.5 lb rifle than a 5.5 lb rifle. I can shoot it 1 MOA or better, but it takes me more effort. Several of my friends have shot it 1 MOA or better with much less effort.
I've recently built a Tikka .280AI that fits my needs better. I'm going to offer it what for I've got in it.
It's basically a Strata with a Model 70 action/safety. Call it a Lightweight 70 I think. Nothing wrong with this gun to my knowledge. Lex builds some really nice stuff. Has a very small scratch on the muzzlebreak where I removed it to shoot with/without experimenting. $2500 naked with rings/bases or $3000 with Leupold 3xi. I'm going to include dies and around 100 pieces of brass. I'll also include my load details (usual disclaimers).
