@Ryan Avery sent us the Hercules tripod and CP brace to test and review.
The team here at Procision Arms has a few dedicated thermal coyote hunters who are always looking for a better solution, whether it’s rifles, optics or other equipment like a tripod.
One of the biggest issues we’ve seen is long range shooting stability off of a tripod- the CP brace looks like an interesting potential fix to shooting extended distances off a tripod.
Initial thoughts: the tripod and brace are very well made and machined. All the fittings and tolerances are very tight and well made. It’s pretty large and heavy from a backpacking/western hunting perspective, but not as big and heavy as a lot of dedicated predator hunting tripods.
The CP brace is pretty neat, it’s well made and extremely solid fitting on the tripod legs.
We’re currently installing a Spartan gunsmith adapter to one of our rifles, and we’ll commence shooting and hunting with it.
