I have a hunt coming up in a shotgun slug only area. Anyone know a source that is stocking these? I only have 3-4 left and want tho check my scope zero plus have enough for the hunt. Also, open to suggested substitutes That would work for a rifled barrel. Thanks.

Remington Premier AccuTip Bonded Sabot Slug, 385-gr., 12-ga., 2-3/4"

if -IF- you find them buy enough for next year.

they quit making them a year ago and with the ammo plant here in Arkansas being bought out who knows when or if they will make them.

the plant was closed back in august then they decided to open and use up what stock they had.
then they closed the plant last week just before the sale but rumor has it , it will be going asap.

my guess is they will run 9 mm until they catch up.

intereting. Didn’t know they were discontinued. Sounds like I need to pick another slug and move on.

thanks

the guy that worked there did not say discontinued.

he said they had not ran them for a month and that was about this time last year when i was trying to stock up.

ah. Understood. I am sure the ammo component situation has only made things worse. Thanks.

Good luck in finding some. Most of my LGS don't have any.
A couple of months ago Remington declared bankruptcy a 2nd time. Remington Arms is being sold in parts.. (it's on the news)
Vista Outdoor Inc is to acquire the Remington’s Lonoke, Arkansas, ammunition business.

i have 3 boxes of 20s and have been looking all summer. 12s show on occasion.

every now and then some big retailer finds a case and they sell in 10 minutes

if they get the stock to make them they may make a run but if there is no stock it may be a while before they make any.

i would be looking for a replacement as i have this feeling the accutips are going the way of the buckhammers. [which were great!!!]
