Remington 700 and 770 clearance at walmart

I know theyve had trigger issues in the past and I know the 770 is a starter rifle at best. But I thought I'd pass this along.

Walmart is marking down model 700's in .223 because they aren't carrying .223 ammo anymore. Rifle with 3x9 scope is $290 down from $398 locally where I am.

All calibers of the 770 are clearances and between $220 and $190.

The 770 has its issues but a buddy bought one 2 years ago and a few quick modifications (check the internet) and he is very happy with his. And by happy I mean he is happy with it for what it is (it's not a $1500 rifle so he's not expecting that)
