The D6 components and broadheads shoot really well for me. Haven’t had any issues with them. The angle of their blade is not as easy to fully resharpen as a straight edge like IW though.

A LOT less little blade edges on day 6 vs iron will, i will take a convex vs several little edges, I don’t like sharpening IW for that reason

Agreed. I like IW heads a LOT but they’re a pain to sharpen all the facets

The real hang up, is the overall size. To me, the idea behind exampdibles is low profile, large cut, with the low profile being the primary reason to shoot one. The more I shoot exapandibles when hunting on the ground, moving, being active, the more I hate rubber bands. Maybe its the quiver I have, but I'm starting to dislike them more and more. Sitting in a tree, not a real issue.

Everyone building mechanicals today is trying to solve a problem that grim reaper figured out 20 years ago. The 1 3/8’s pro series head flat out worked two decades ago, and it still flat out works today for a fraction of the price of a lot “high end” expandable head market.
