Good evening,

Wanted to see if there is anyone reloading for Waterfowl?

Looking to get some info on some starting items. My buddy and I reload for upland, but are looking to see if there is anything we should be looking to use vs upland reloads (i.e. bismuth/tungsten, hulls, wads, primers and powder), that are better for Waterfowl.

Just looking for some basic good info to build some 3" waterfowl loads.

Thanks for your time!

I have in the past. Been a while. I used to buy Hevishot and load 2-3/4" shells for ducks and geese. A 1-1/8oz load at 1500fps of #4's was devastating. Ballistics Products Inc should have all kinds of stuff for what you are looking for.

Awesome, thank you. What size brass base did you find to be better?

I used to but no local ducks anymore to speak of.
Probably start pulling shells down to save the bluedot.
Steel #4’s work fine over decoys @1450 fps
Steel #3”s @1450 fps for farther out.
No experience with tungsten.
